The way we are doing the GEOGRAPHY education.

THE IDEAS of the experimental education, confirmed by the Danish Ministry of Education, are in great conformity with the announced demands of educational standards published by the Ministry and the County of Funen.

The singel topic is educated in 3 phases:

- a) The basical knowledge of terms and problems, (class-education with dialog).

- b) The training phase based on exercises described in details.

- c) The deeping phase where the students are working with the published questions of the examination. (The teatcher plays the advisers role).

The INTERNET is used as a major source of information.

The MAIN-QUEASTIONS of the june-examination are published during the school year. The students are then going to set up a plan for the presentation and to find excellent statistical data, graphs, etc. to support the arguments. The lazy student will use the data and graphs from the school book or from the lessons. The good student will try to get the most updated data and informations from primary courses if possible f.ex. from the INTERNET.

At the examination some unknown questions and data will be available to check the students ability to use their competance reading and analysing new unknown problems.

Dear student, your final MARK in GEOGRAPHY depends on:

- your actual knowledge.-

your ability to use your actual knowledge on new problems.

- your ability comprehensively to look at all sides of the questions and problems coming up during the studies.

- your ability to present the results of your work verbally as well as in writing in a linguistic correct but still short, distinct and logic way.

- your ability to collect and work up new informations and using modern tecnology in your work.

- your ability to reach the objectives by individual work as well as in co-operation.
